Workshop leader/ teacher – Before Poetry grabbed me I became a qualified  teacher and I now have over ten years experience and have taught in a number of different settings from community centres, festivals, hospitals and community gardens. I have not only led poetry workshops but I have taught a variety of subjects from adult literacy, arts, crafts, poetry, drama, hydrotherapy, cookery, Creative thinking & I have specialised in working with students with Autism, Down syndrome, profound and multiple learning disabilities.

I have taught lots of workshops over the last 13 years and with a mix of different people from all ages, I love teaching poetry and I believe that everyone has a poem in them and I use a variety of different techniques to help a person to reach that poem.
