I am also a project manager and creative producer and I have worked for Eastern Angles theatre since 2010, they are based both in Ipswich and Peterborough and I help coordinate their Peterborough strand of work by programming, networking, marketing, managing volunteers, recruitment of community performers/key stakeholders, audience development, research, developing artists/projects, collaborating with different creative teams and helping to run the new theatre space, ‘The Undercroft’ in Peterborough when shows are performing. 2017- Devised a play called, We Aren’t that different for Black History Month with Small Nose theatre Small Nose and 20twenty productions 20twentyproductionsCIC and it was performed by 20 young performers over four dates. I worked with local representatives from the black community to produce this work and also led writing workshops with the young performers.
2017: Trials of Mary- I rewrote two mystery plays which are from the N Town cycle for Eastern Angles which was performed at various venues in Peterborough including the Cathedral, Nene Park Trust and Cathedral Square in Peterborough. The play was seen by over 700 people and I worked with 4 other poets on the play, including Pete Cox, Toby Wood, Charley Genever and the present Peterborough Poet Laureate, Clare Currie.
