A little bit about me and my day to day work….
As an Artist, Creative Project Manager & Teacher I have been very lucky to have worked closely with a fantastic variety of interesting people, partners, programmes and spaces.
My first passion, from an early age, has always been Creative Writing; this passion led me to work successfully in Poetry & Theatre. My early career saw me work as a lecturer, teaching a spectrum of students with challenging needs. This experience taught me the value of good communication, and of the power of the arts to enrich people’s lives. I later worked intensively writing, performing my poetry and running Spoken Word events.
This led me into doing a huge amount of Freelance activity, from delivering workshops to Project Manager work, more recently I started working for Eastern Angles Theatre company, combining my love and knowledge of the stage with my project management skills.
I am a person that loves discovering new people, partnerships, events and culture as a whole. I am very greedy in my love for all art forms and this has led me to collaborate with actors, writers, dancers, musicians, poets, visual artists and people whose practice often defies genre
So I can run workshops, projects and events too.
If you look at events and projects then you can see some of the things I am working on at the moment.
